The photo, posted on Kartik’s Instagram, shows him smiling beside Depp, who sports his signature beanie, sunglasses and a cigar. Kartik captioned the image, “Pirates of the Red Sea JackSparrow x RoohBaba @johnnydepp,” drawing playful parallels between their most famous roles and thrilling fans with the unusual cinematic mashup.
The selfie triggered a wave of excitement across platforms, with fans celebrating the meeting of two actors known for their charismatic screen presence and cult popularity.
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan is preparing for the release of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, a romantic comedy directed by Sameer Vidwans, co-starring Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff and Tiku Talsania. The film, shot across Croatia, Rajasthan and Mumbai, hits theatres on December 25.
Kartik will next be seen in Naagzilla, where he plays the shape-shifting character Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and written by Gautam Mehra, the film is backed by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.
