Vishal Chaturvedi's Hanuman Ansh, featuring Shobhinaw Satyaa, will premiere on SonyLIV on November 27, 2026.

The Hanuman Ansh OTT release has been confirmed for November 27, 2026, with SonyLIV set to stream the devotional drama based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, the film features Shobhinaw Satyaa in the titular role.

SonyLIV announced the digital premiere through its official social media account, sharing the film's trailer and describing it as an extraordinary story of faith and devotion.

The announcement comes after the film's reported worldwide box office collection of ₹452.86 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The production was reportedly made on a budget of approximately ₹2 crore, making its reported commercial performance particularly noteworthy.

What Is the Story of Hanuman Ansh?

The film follows Lakshminarayan, a young boy who loses his mother and begins searching for answers about God, life and death.

His journey takes him across North India, where he encounters questions about human suffering, faith and existence. This spiritual search eventually leads to his transformation into Neem Karoli Baba, whose teachings continue to inspire devotees.

Alongside Shobhinaw Satyaa, the film features Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.

Dispute Over Film Rights and Publicity

The OTT announcement comes amid an alleged disagreement within the film's production team over rights, publicity arrangements and the authority to represent the project.

In a statement released through Swambhu Media Network, Namrata G Singh and Vishal Chaturvedi identified themselves as authorised representatives for the film's public relations, marketing, awards and partnerships. They cautioned against individuals claiming to represent the project or independently handling its commercial arrangements.

The statement also said that producers could not independently enter into business arrangements concerning the film without the required authorisation.

However, a disclaimer accompanying the communication clarified that the film has four producers: Namrata G Singh, Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, Ragini Sona and Anupriya Nagar.

According to the disclaimer, the film's rights are jointly held, and decisions involving publicity, awards, partnerships and domestic or international rights require approval from all four producers under the production agreement.

SonyLIV Premiere Follows Box Office Success

The digital release gives audiences another opportunity to watch the film after its reported theatrical success.

The disagreement over publicity and rights has added another dimension to the film's journey, but SonyLIV has confirmed November 27 as its streaming premiere date.

With its devotional subject, portrayal of Neem Karoli Baba and reported box office performance, Hanuman Ansh is now preparing for its next release window on OTT.
