Munawar Faruqui Calls The Traitors Season 2 Contestants 'Insecure' After Elimination

Comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui has reacted strongly after being eliminated in the opening episodes of The Traitors Season 2, accusing fellow contestants of targeting him out of insecurity.

The Karan Johar-hosted reality series witnessed high drama during its first "Circle of Shaq" as contestants voted out Munawar after suspecting him of being a traitor. However, the comedian was later revealed to be an innocent player.

Munawar lashes out after elimination

Following his exit, Munawar expressed his disappointment and frustration while revealing his identity in front of the contestants.

He said he was simply trying to play the game strategically and alleged that the other participants voted him out because they feared his gameplay. Calling them an "insecure bunch," he claimed they targeted him because they believed he would outplay them.

Munawar maintained that he had entered the competition with a clear strategy but became an early target despite not being one of the traitors.

Says he expected to be targeted

Before his identity was revealed, Munawar told the contestants that he had anticipated being voted out.

He said being treated as a "soft target" was not new for him and claimed he could clearly see the insecurities among the participants. He also remarked that those who had approached him as friends ultimately voted against him.

Who are the real traitors?

After Munawar's elimination, it was revealed that Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), Krystle D'Souza and Harman Singha were the original traitors in the game.

Later, Shahneel Gill was recruited as the fourth traitor, adding another twist to the competition.

Early eliminations shake up the game

The opening episodes have already delivered several unexpected exits.

Veteran actor Dalip Tahil became the first contestant to leave the show after receiving the fewest gold coins during the opening challenge, while Karan Singh Magic became the first contestant to be secretly eliminated by the traitors.

The show's mix of strategy, deception and unexpected twists has quickly intensified the competition among contestants.
