Babar Azam Fan Meets Dressing Room Pakistan South Africa Test

During the Pakistan vs South Africa Test at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, one fan’s enthusiasm went a little too far. On Wednesday, October 15, as Pakistan celebrated Babar Azam’s 31st birthday, a supporter climbed onto a stadium stand and made his way toward the Pakistan dressing room in an attempt to meet the star batter.

Videos circulating online show the fan gesturing to a friend recording him and requesting to meet Babar Azam. Pakistan head coach Azhar Mahmood quickly intervened, warning the fan to step away and notifying security. Despite the warning, the fan remained insistent until security escorted him away.

Amid the excitement, Pakistan’s support staff brought Babar Azam out of the dressing room, allowing the batting star to wave at his fans — a memorable birthday moment for both the player and supporters.

Babar’s birthday coincided with Pakistan’s victory in the first Test of the World Test Championship (WTC) cycle against South Africa, making the day even more special for fans.
