Nupur Sanon Reveals Kriti Sanon Helped Convince Mother for Interfaith Wedding

Actor Nupur Sanon has spoken candidly about her interfaith marriage to singer Stebin Ben, revealing how her elder sister Kriti Sanon played a crucial role in convincing their mother about the relationship.

In a recent interview, Nupur shared that Kriti was the very first person in her family to know about Stebin. Describing their sibling bond, she said that despite a five-year age gap, the sisters share a friendship-like closeness, which made it natural for her to confide in Kriti before anyone else.

At the time Nupur introduced Stebin to her sister, the singer was still in the early stages of his professional journey. The wedding festivities began with a private Christian ceremony held on January 10 and 11, followed by traditional Hindu rituals attended by close family members and friends.

After the Christian ceremony, the couple shared official wedding photographs with the caption, “I did. I DO. I will Always & Forever,” which quickly gained attention online. For the Hindu wedding celebrations, Nupur posted photos along with a Punjabi couplet expressing love, peace, and gratitude toward her partner.
