The Railway Recruitment Board has announced a revised schedule for the RRB NTPC Graduate Level Examination 2025, confirming that the test conducted on December 30, 2025, will be held again on February 11, 2026 for a specific set of candidates. The decision follows a review by the board and applies only to candidates who appeared for the exam on that particular date.
According to the latest official notice, no other examination dates under the RRB NTPC recruitment cycle have been changed. The rescheduling is limited strictly to the December 30 shift, and candidates who took the exam on that day are advised to check updates on the official websites of their respective regional RRBs.
The board has urged candidates to rely only on official communication channels and to monitor their regional RRB portals regularly for further instructions related to the reconducted examination.
The Railway Recruitment Board has clarified that exam city intimation slips, exam date confirmation, and travel authority passes for eligible SC and ST candidates will be released 10 days prior to the rescheduled exam date. These details will be available exclusively on the official websites of the respective regional RRBs.
Candidates must note that e-call letters or admit cards will be issued four days before the examination date mentioned in the city intimation slip. Aspirants are strongly advised to download their admit cards well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues or access problems.
The board has cautioned candidates against waiting until the final day to access important documents, stressing that delayed downloads often result in unnecessary stress and confusion.
Candidates who successfully clear the written examination will be required to appear for the Computer-Based Typing Skill Test, which is a qualifying stage in the recruitment process. During the test, candidates must type a minimum of 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi.
English will be the default typing language. Candidates opting for Hindi must be proficient in either the Krutidev or Mangal font, as specified by the board.
The typing test will be conducted in three stages. First, candidates will be provided one minute of practice time to familiarise themselves with the keyboard. This will be followed by a 30-second break, after which the main typing test will commence. The actual test duration will be 10 minutes, during which typing speed and accuracy will be assessed.
If a candidate completes the passage before the allotted time, they are permitted to retype the passage from the beginning within the same 10-minute window. However, it is mandatory that the complete passage is typed at least once. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the typing test.
Candidates affected by the rescheduling are advised to carefully read all instructions published on their respective regional RRB websites. Regular monitoring of official portals is essential to stay updated on exam city details, admit card availability, and travel authority notifications.
Aspirants should also use this additional time to revise thoroughly and prepare for both the written examination and the typing skill test. Ensuring familiarity with the exam pattern, time management strategies, and typing requirements can significantly improve performance.
The Railway Recruitment Board has reiterated that all future updates will be communicated only through official channels. Candidates are advised to avoid unofficial sources and rely solely on RRB notifications for accurate and timely information.
