At least 30 Amarnath pilgrims were injured after a bus carrying around 50 passengers overturned on the Sonamarg road in Ganderbal district early Tuesday, officials said.

The bus was travelling from the Baltal Base Camp to Srinagar when the accident occurred.

Bus Rolled Down Roadside Slope

According to officials, the vehicle overturned before rolling approximately 20–25 metres down a roadside slope.

The bus eventually came to rest on the roof of a nearby house.

Authorities said around 30 passengers sustained minor injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical examination and treatment.
