Samsung Unveils Music Studio Speakers and Premium Soundbars Ahead of CES 2026

Samsung has announced a new lineup of premium home audio products, including Music Studio Wi-Fi speakers and upgraded Q-series soundbars, ahead of their official showcase at CES 2026.

The new audio devices will be presented in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, 2026, highlighting Samsung’s focus on high-end sound performance combined with distinctive, design-led aesthetics.

Music Studio Speakers With Artistic Design

Samsung is expanding its Music Studio range with two new Wi-Fi speakers — Music Studio 7 (LS70H) and Music Studio 5 (LS50H). Designed around a “timeless dot” concept by designer Erwan Bouroullec, the speakers are intended to blend seamlessly into modern living spaces.

The Music Studio 7 supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96kHz and can operate as a standalone immersive speaker or be paired for stereo and surround sound configurations. Samsung says its Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology reduces signal overlap for improved directional clarity, while AI Dynamic Bass Control manages low frequencies with minimal distortion.

The more compact Music Studio 5 features a gallery-inspired design, a four-inch woofer and dual tweeters for balanced sound output. It also supports Wi-Fi casting, Bluetooth connectivity, voice control and AI-powered bass optimisation.

Major Upgrades to Q-Series Soundbars

Leading Samsung’s soundbar lineup is the HW-Q990H, an 11.1.4-channel system featuring a main soundbar, rear speakers and a dual eight-inch subwoofer. New features include Sound Elevation technology, which positions dialogue closer to the screen centre, and Auto Volume for smoother transitions across different content types.

Samsung says the HW-Q990H delivers cinema-style immersion through up-firing channels and next-generation AI tuning designed to widen the soundstage.

For users preferring a cleaner setup, the HW-QS90H all-in-one soundbar offers a 7.1.2-channel configuration with 13 drivers and a Quad Bass Woofer system. Its Convertible Fit design and built-in gyro sensor automatically adjust audio output based on whether the unit is wall-mounted or placed on a table.

Q-Symphony Ecosystem Gets Smarter

Samsung also announced updates to its Q-Symphony ecosystem, which allows multiple Samsung audio devices to work together. In 2026, users will be able to pair up to five devices — including TVs, soundbars and Wi-Fi speakers — with automatic channel allocation based on room layout and speaker positioning.

Control and management will be handled through the SmartThings app, offering unified access to playback, device grouping and streaming services.

Samsung confirmed that its previously announced Sound Tower models, designed for outdoor and party use, will remain part of its broader audio portfolio.
