UPSC Opens DAF Window for 2,736 CSE 2025 Interview Candidates

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the Detailed Application Form (DAF) update window for 2,736 candidates who qualified for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 personality test. The link is now active on the official UPSC portal, and candidates must complete the process by November 27, 6 pm.

The commission has made it clear that only candidates who update, verify, and submit their DAF along with all required documents will receive the e-summon letter for the interview stage.

What Candidates Must Update

Aspirants must log in to the UPSC online portal and revise or revalidate several personal and academic details. This includes:

  • Personal information, address details, and family particulars

  • Educational qualifications and relevant certificates

  • Employment records and proof of appearance or passing

  • Reservation-related documents including OBC/EWS certificates

  • PwBD recommendations where applicable

  • Information on past attempts, debarment history, and socio-economic data

Even candidates who have no changes to report must re-verify and resubmit the form to ensure eligibility for the interview call letter.

Mandatory Document Upload Before Deadline

UPSC has made document submission compulsory for all shortlisted candidates. Any delay or failure to upload valid supporting documents by November 27, 6 pm will result in the cancellation of candidature. The commission has reiterated that incomplete submissions will lead to non-issuance of the e-summon letter.

Interview Timeline and Evaluation Weightage

The personality test for CSE 2025 is expected to commence in January 2026 at UPSC’s Dholpur House in New Delhi.
The interview carries 275 marks, with no minimum qualifying score, and forms a critical component of the final merit calculation.

Candidates have been advised to complete the verification process carefully and avoid last-minute errors to ensure a smooth progression to the final stage of the examination.
