The Ajay Devgn raw fish moment from his 2021 adventure with Bear Grylls has resurfaced online, showing the actor taking on an unusual survival challenge. During his appearance on Into The Wild With Bear Grylls, Devgn ate raw fish with his bare hands despite admitting that he was uncomfortable touching food while eating.
The throwback clip has once again attracted attention because of the actor’s reaction to being pushed outside his usual comfort zone during the wilderness adventure.
Ajay Devgn Opens Up About His Food Phobia
During the episode, Devgn explained that he normally avoids touching food with his hands because he dislikes the lingering smell on his hands.
He revealed that he generally uses a fork and knife while eating because of this discomfort. However, the survival challenge offered no such option.
Bear Grylls reminded Devgn that there was no cutlery available on the island and encouraged him to embrace the difficult situation. The survival expert stressed that being able to adapt and do unfamiliar things is an essential part of survival.
Grylls then handed Devgn a fresh catch and told him that he needed to eat to stay alive.
‘Kajol, I Am Eating This for My Survival’
Before taking a bite, Devgn looked directly at the camera and acknowledged how difficult the challenge was for him.
He then addressed his wife, Kajol, while eating the raw fish, saying that he was doing it for his survival.
The moment showed the actor tackling a challenge that directly conflicted with his usual eating habits.
