Aishwarya Rai Honors Late Father With Emotional Tribute
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan commemorated the birth anniversary of her late father, Krishnaraj Rai, with an emotional post celebrating the bond that continues to unite her family across generations. The actor shared a series of intimate photographs featuring her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, alongside her grandfather’s portrait, highlighting how the family keeps his memory alive.
In one photograph, a young Aaradhya is seen affectionately kissing her grandfather’s image while Aishwarya stands beside her with a warm smile. Another picture shows Aishwarya and Aaradhya dressed in white, offering prayers before Krishnaraj Rai’s framed portrait—symbolising the legacy of values and affection he left behind.
Aishwarya’s caption read: “Happy Birthday dearest Daddy-Ajjaaa. Our Guardian Angel, love you eternally. Thanking you for ALL your infinite love and blessings as our Aaradhya turned 14.”
Krishnaraj Rai passed away in 2017 after a prolonged illness, and Aishwarya has consistently honoured him on his birth and death anniversaries. Each tribute reflects the influence he had on her life and how his memory continues to guide the Bachchan family.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s 2023 epic Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, which earned widespread acclaim and collected over ₹344 crore worldwide. She received the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Critics) award at the South Indian International Movie Awards for her performance. Her work in the film also drew praise at home, with Abhishek Bachchan calling it her finest performance to date.
