Anirudh flies to Malaysia for Jana Nayagan audio launch, calls it Vijay’s one last dance

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has flown to Malaysia ahead of the grand audio launch of Jana Nayagan, expressing excitement about performing before a massive crowd at what he described as Thalapathy Vijay’s “one last dance” as an actor.

Anirudh was spotted at Chennai airport on Friday before departing for Malaysia. Speaking briefly to the media, the composer said he was thrilled about the scale of the event and the opportunity to perform in front of nearly 80,000 fans. “I’m very excited. The event being put together is on a huge scale, with almost 80,000 people attending. I’m excited to perform in front of that crowd,” he said in Tamil.

When asked about Vijay’s future projects, Anirudh responded with a smile, calling Jana Nayagan the actor’s “one last dance,” a reference to Vijay’s decision to step away from films and enter politics full-time.

Earlier, Vijay, choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva, and director Nelson Dilipkumar were also seen departing for Malaysia for the high-profile event.

The film’s producers, KVN Productions, shared a video confirming that Anirudh’s team had already arrived in Malaysia. The clip featured singers and performers including Adithya RK, Velu and DJ Gautam, capturing the crew’s excitement ahead of the show.

Lead actor Pooja Hegde was also spotted at Mumbai airport en route to Malaysia. The film also stars Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol in key roles.

The audio launch will take place on December 27 at the Bukit Jalil Stadium, which can host close to 85,000 attendees. The event will be divided into two segments — Thalapathy Thiruvizha, a tribute concert featuring around 30 singers, followed by the official audio launch with speeches by the cast and crew, including director H Vinoth.
