Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi beats Anupamaa to top TV ratings
Ektaa Kapoor’s iconic television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has reclaimed the top position on the weekly television ratings chart, overtaking long-time leader Anupamaa.
The Smriti Irani-starrer emerged as the most-watched show this week, marking a major shift in audience preferences. Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi and headlined by Rupali Ganguly, slipped to the second position after dominating the charts for an extended period.
Last week, Anupamaa was denied the top spot due to the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, but this time, it was Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that surged ahead to claim the No.1 position.
Meanwhile, Tum Se Tum Tak, starring Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey, recorded a significant jump, climbing from fifth place last week to secure the third spot.
The fourth position was taken by Vasudha, while Ganga Maa Ki Betiyan rounded out the top five, both maintaining steady viewership.
In contrast, reality show Laughter Chefs witnessed a sharp decline in ratings, slipping from fourth place last week to tenth this week.
The latest rankings reflect an increasingly competitive television landscape, with audience loyalties shifting and both fiction and non-fiction formats vying for prime-time dominance.
