Braj Ki Holi 2026 Full Schedule: 40 Days of Holi in Vrindavan & Mathura

The 40-day-long Braj Holi celebration is one of the most unique and spiritually rich festivals in India. Celebrated across Vrindavan, Mathura, Barsana, Nandgaon, Gokul and Govardhan, the festivities begin from Vasant Panchami and continue till Rang Panchami.

Here is the complete date-wise schedule of Braj Holi 2026 (February–March):


Phase 1: Beginning of Holi Festivities

3 February 2026 – Vasant Panchami (Vrindavan & Mathura)
Holi celebrations officially begin with temple rituals and the first application of gulal in Banke Bihari Temple.

Mid-February 2026 – Temple Holi Starts
Daily Holi songs (Hori bhajans) and light gulal rituals begin in major temples of Vrindavan and Mathura.


Phase 2: Main Braj Holi Events (Late February – Early March 2026)

25 February 2026 – Laddoo Holi (Barsana)
Devotees celebrate by showering laddoos in Radha Rani Temple.

26 February 2026 – Laddu & Samaj Gayan (Nandgaon)
