The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the schedule for the January 2027 CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations. The exams will be conducted at centres across India as well as three overseas locations: Bahrain, Dubai and Kathmandu.
For CA Intermediate, Group 1 exams are scheduled for January 2, 4 and 6, while Group 2 papers will be held on January 8, 10 and 12. All papers will run from 2 pm to 5 pm, with an additional 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 pm.
The CA Foundation exams will take place on January 3, 5, 7 and 9. Papers 1 and 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm and include 15 minutes of advance reading time. Papers 3 and 4 will run from 2 pm to 4 pm, without advance reading time.
The online application process through ICAI’s Self Service Portal will begin on November 3. Candidates can submit forms without a late fee until November 16, while applications with a Rs 600 late fee will be accepted until November 19. The correction window for examination city and medium will remain open from November 20 to 22.
ICAI has also clarified that the announced timetable will not change if any examination date is later declared a public holiday. Candidates have been advised to follow ICAI’s official updates and complete applications within the prescribed deadlines.
