UGC NET June 2026 Results Out for English, Commerce and Sociology

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the UGC NET June 2026 results for English, Commerce and Sociology. Candidates who appeared for the examination can download their scorecards through the official UGC NET portal.

The results were released on September 17 following re-examinations conducted on September 9 and 10 at 454 centres across 272 cities. Of the 1,96,491 candidates registered for the three subjects, 1,20,355 appeared. The registered candidates included 1,29,552 women, 66,931 men and eight candidates from the third-gender category.

As per the NTA, 824 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship, while 11,610 secured eligibility for Assistant Professor posts. Another 23,154 candidates qualified under the PhD-only category.

Candidates can check their results by visiting the official UGC NET website, selecting the June 2026 result or scorecard link, entering their login credentials and downloading the scorecard. The question papers, provisional answer keys and recorded responses were available from September 10 to 13 for objections, which were reviewed by subject experts before the final results were processed.

Candidates are advised to verify the details on their scorecards and retain them for future academic or recruitment requirements. Further updates regarding qualification and subsequent procedures will be issued through official channels.
