Laura Loomer at Conclave: World More Vulnerable to Terror Without Trump, Modi, Netanyahu

American political activist Laura Loomer said the world would be more vulnerable to terrorism without leaders like Donald Trump, Narendra Modi, and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Speaking at the India Today Conclave 2026, Loomer described what she called “Islamic terrorism” as a global threat and argued that strong political leadership is essential to counter extremist networks.

She cited incidents in countries such as India, the United States, and Israel to underline the need for coordinated global counter-terror strategies.

Praise for Strong Counter-Terror Policies

Loomer praised former US President Donald Trump’s approach to fighting terrorism, describing his policies as decisive and uncompromising.

According to her, the strategy involved not only targeting terror groups but also taking action against governments or networks allegedly supporting them.

She argued that such policies helped deter extremist organisations and strengthen global security cooperation.

Emphasis on US-India-Israel Partnership

During the discussion, Loomer highlighted the growing strategic cooperation between the United States, India and Israel.

She said stronger collaboration among these countries could play a significant role in combating terrorism worldwide.

The three nations, she suggested, share common concerns regarding security threats and extremist violence.

Criticism of Pakistan

In separate remarks during the conclave, Loomer also criticised Pakistan, claiming that it has been linked to several extremist networks.

She described Pakistan as the “biggest exporter” of Islamic terrorism and warned that the United States should be cautious about strengthening ties with Shehbaz Sharif’s government.

Her comments sparked debate, reflecting the sharp political divisions surrounding global counter-terrorism policies.

Apology Over Earlier Anti-India Posts

Loomer also addressed controversy over some of her earlier social media posts that had been widely criticised in India.

During the event, she apologised for several remarks that were considered offensive and derogatory toward Indians.

However, she maintained her position on issues such as the US H-1B visa programme, which has been a subject of intense political debate.

Controversial Yet Influential Voice

Laura Loomer is known for her outspoken views and strong support for Donald Trump.

Her remarks at the conclave generated significant discussion among attendees and observers, reflecting broader debates over terrorism, geopolitics and international alliances.

The session highlighted how global security challenges continue to shape political discourse across countries.
