Mahesh Babu takes shoot break to celebrate cosy Christmas with family
Actor Mahesh Babu took a brief break from his busy filming schedule to celebrate Christmas 2025 with family and close friends at home in Hyderabad, sharing a warm and intimate festive moment with fans.
The celebrations at the Ghattamaneni household were kept low-key and personal. On Friday, Mahesh’s wife and former Miss India Namrata Shirodkar shared glimpses from the family gathering on Instagram, offering a peek into their cosy Christmas evening.
One of the pictures featured Mahesh Babu posing with Namrata, their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni and other family members in front of a beautifully lit Christmas tree adorned with fairy lights. Mahesh kept it casual in a red T-shirt and jeans, while Namrata opted for an elegant all-black outfit. Sitara added a festive flair to the frame in a bright red dress.
Sharing the images on her Instagram Stories, Namrata captioned a group photograph, “The big celebration family.” She also posted selfies with friends from the evening, capturing the relaxed and cheerful mood of the gathering. The posts quickly gained traction across social media, drawing warm reactions from fans.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar have been married since 2005 and are parents to two children — son Gautam and daughter Sitara. Over the years, the couple has often shared moments from family celebrations, striking a balance between their public lives and personal time.
On the professional front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Guntur Kaaram (2024), which received a mixed response at the box office. He is currently working on Varanasi, directed by S S Rajamouli, and co-starring Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is scheduled for a Sankranthi 2027 release.
