Malavika Mohanan’s First Look as Bhairavi Revealed in Prabhas’ The RajaSaab

The makers of The RajaSaab have officially unveiled Malavika Mohanan’s first look from the upcoming Prabhas-led horror fantasy, adding fresh intrigue to one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.

Malavika will be seen playing Bhairavi, a character introduced through a striking poster that blends elegance with mystery. Dressed in a sheer black saree paired with a statement blouse and layered accessories, the actor is shown lifting her sunglasses in an abandoned corridor, visually reinforcing the supernatural undertones of the film. The muted lighting and eerie backdrop suggest that Bhairavi’s role will be central to the film’s suspense-driven narrative.

Directed by Maruthi, The RajaSaab marks a tonal shift for Prabhas, who is set to appear in a lighter yet intense avatar infused with fantasy and horror elements. The film aims to balance mass entertainment with supernatural storytelling, a combination that has already generated strong buzz among fans.

Speaking earlier about the production, Maruthi revealed that the film involved physically demanding schedules, including overseas shoots in extreme cold conditions. He credited Prabhas for keeping the team motivated and focused, stating that the goal was to give fans everything they had been missing on screen in recent years.

Producer Vishwa Prasad also highlighted the grand scale of the project, revealing that the film’s first single, Rebel Saab, featured close to a thousand dancers, underscoring the film’s commercial ambition. Apart from Malavika Mohanan, the cast includes Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar, further strengthening the ensemble.

Scheduled for a Sankranthi festive release, The RajaSaab will hit theatres on January 9, 2026, and is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With its mix of glamour, mystery, music, and mass appeal, the film is positioning itself as a major box-office contender.
