Rishab Shetty Films Kantara: Chapter 1 Climax Amid Exhaustion | Behind-the-Scenes Insights

Actor-director Rishab Shetty showcased extraordinary dedication while filming the climactic sequence of 'Kantara: Chapter 1', completing the intense shoot despite suffering from a swollen leg and extreme exhaustion. Sharing behind-the-scenes moments on social media, Shetty expressed gratitude to fans and the divine energy that inspired the project.

“This was during the climax shoot, a swollen leg, an exhausted body, but today, the climax has become something that millions watch and admire. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us,” Shetty wrote alongside a picture from the set.

Fans and cinephiles applauded his commitment, calling it “beyond inspiring” and a testament to his relentless passion for cinema.

Creative Process Behind the Film

Shetty also revealed that crafting the prequel involved an extensive creative process. The screenplay underwent nearly 15–16 drafts before finalization, significantly more than the 3–4 drafts completed for the first part of the film.

Speaking to IANS, Shetty explained, “We began with the story of Shiva’s father, and once that was ready, we realized the first part needed a backstory. Eventually, the backstory grew into a full-fledged script. It couldn’t just be a small portion; it had to stand on its own.”

'Kantara: Chapter 1' continues to draw audiences in theatres, celebrated for its intense narrative, rich storytelling, and Shetty’s uncompromising dedication.
