Fire and Damage:

  • Firefighters brought a blaze under control that had engulfed apartments on the 6th and 7th floors of a high-rise in Pecherskyi district.

  • Drone fragments struck multiple parts of the city, intensifying the disruption.

Energy Sites Targeted:

  • Energy Minister Svitlana Grynchuk confirmed damage to energy facilities.

  • Restoration efforts will begin once safety conditions are secured.

Zaporizhzhia Attacks:

  • Russian drones also struck Zaporizhzhia, injuring three and triggering at least one fire.

Context:

  • Russia has increasingly targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure as winter approaches.

  • Last week, a large missile and drone attack hit Ukraine’s main gas production facilities, causing substantial damage.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and conduct repairs to restore power and services in affected areas.
