The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2025 results, shortlisting 11,727 candidates for the next stage of the state’s premier civil services recruitment process. With this, aspirants who cleared the preliminary exam will now proceed to the PCS Mains examination, marking the second stage of the multi-tier selection process.
The Prelims were held on October 12, 2025, as part of the drive to fill 920 vacancies, including 106 posts for Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) and Range Forest Officer (RFO), along with 814 posts across the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) cadre.
This year's exam saw strong interest, with 6.26 lakh candidates applying. UPPSC records show that 42.5% of the registered applicants appeared for the test: 2,67,340 candidates attempted Paper 1 and 2,65,270 attempted Paper 2.
The results are now available on the official UPPSC website, uppsc.up.nic.in, following a formal announcement by UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar.
The Commission will soon release the Mains exam timetable, along with detailed instructions for submitting the online Mains application form. UPPSC also clarified that cut-off scores and individual marks will be published only after the final merit list is declared. No RTI queries about marks or cut-offs will be entertained until the recruitment cycle concludes.
