Anuj Sachdeva Defends Gaurav Khanna on Bigg Boss 19
Actor Anuj Sachdeva has come out in strong support of his long-time friend and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Gaurav Khanna, dismissing claims that Gaurav is “pretending” on the show. In a video shared on social media, Anuj described Gaurav as genuinely principled and criticised those questioning his authenticity.
Anuj, who has known Gaurav for 15 years, stated that the version of Gaurav seen on the show is exactly who he is in real life. According to him, contestants who label Gaurav as fake simply may not have encountered someone consistently righteous.
He said that no contestant could convincingly “act” for four months straight, adding that Gaurav’s calmness and patience were being unfairly tested.
Anuj also took a sharp dig at Amaal Mallik, criticising his use of derogatory language toward women and for speaking disrespectfully about someone’s mother, questioning how such behaviour aligns with claims of upholding a “legacy.”
Anuj further added that Gaurav is a “well-deserving winner,” regardless of whether he wins the trophy, and praised his integrity and conduct inside the house.
Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24 with the theme “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” where housemates collectively run the house like a democracy, while Bigg Boss steps back from day-to-day control.
The show streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
