Bigg Boss 19 Loses Steam Before Finale: Ashnoor’s Outburst, Pranit’s Dip and Amaal’s Exit Mode

With just a week left for the Bigg Boss 19 finale, the season that once thrived on drama, strategy and bold personalities has entered an unusually sluggish phase. The energy that defined the show’s earlier weeks seems to have evaporated, leaving episodes feeling flat and unengaging — at precisely the moment when momentum should have peaked.

For the first time this season, several leading contestants appear disconnected from the game. Tanya no longer brings her earlier charm, Ashnoor has shifted from bubbly to visibly irritable, Pranit has lost his composure, Amaal looks checked out, and even Farrhana — despite still being a strong presence — cannot shoulder the season alone. It’s as if the house has collectively run out of steam just before the finish line.

Ashnoor’s Outburst Marks Shift in Tone

The turning point came during the Ticket to Finale task, where Ashnoor Kaur, previously known for her cheerful demeanour, lashed out at Tanya Mittal. In a moment that sparked debate among viewers, Ashnoor swung a wooden plank that hit Tanya on the shoulder.
Despite claiming she “didn’t see,” the strike appeared deliberate to many, crossing a line for a season that, until now, largely kept physical aggression in check.

Pranit’s Unexpected Downslide

Pranit More, once considered one of the season’s most composed and respectful contestants, also shocked viewers with a sudden behavioural dip. In confrontations with Tanya and even his close friend Gaurav Khanna, he resorted to remarks and gestures that felt out of character, including a demeaning hand-gesture at Tanya — a clear departure from his earlier dignified gameplay.

Amaal’s Disinterest Adds to the Lull

Adding to the sluggish atmosphere, Amaal Mallik has grown noticeably passive. His reduced involvement in strategies and discussions has left many fans disappointed, with even his alliances feeling unbalanced. His current presence appears limited to eating, resting, and occasionally reacting to others.

Gaurav Benefits as Others Slip

Ironically, the collective dip in performance from Amaal, Tanya and Pranit seems to have cleared the path for Gaurav Khanna, who now stands as a strong contender for the trophy — not solely due to his strategy but because others have faltered at a crucial moment.

Farrhana Remains the Last Source of Momentum

Among the fading enthusiasm, Farrhana remains the only housemate consistently delivering bold moves, unfiltered opinions and relentless gameplay. Whether one admires or critiques her approach, she has kept the show’s core spark alive while others have grown increasingly inert.

A Finale Week in Need of a Jolt

Even the Ticket to Finale task — typically a highlight — fell flat, ending abruptly and failing to add any excitement to the season’s final stretch.
With the finale slated for December 7, expectations now rest heavily on Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka Vaar to revive viewer engagement and inject the season with one last dose of intensity.

Bigg Boss 19 airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm and streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm daily.
