Bigg Boss 19 Episode 96: Gaurav Wins Ticket to Finale as Ashnoor-Tanya Clash Turns Physical

Bigg Boss 19 Episode 96: Gaurav Wins Ticket to Finale as Ashnoor-Tanya Clash Turns Physical

Bigg Boss 19 delivered one of its most dramatic instalments of the season in Episode 96, featuring fierce strategy, heated clashes, and a decisive victory. Gaurav Khanna emerged as the first confirmed finalist of the season after winning the high-pressure ticket-to-finale task, while tensions spiked as a physical altercation between Ashnoor Kaur and Tanya Mittal left the house shaken.

Sanchalak Selection Sparks Debate

The episode opened with Bigg Boss announcing that only one contestant would earn a direct entry into the finale. The housemates were asked to vote for the sanchalak, choosing between Malti Chahar and Shehbaz Badesha. Following a split vote, Shehbaz was appointed to supervise the crucial task.

A minor disagreement surfaced between Amaal Mallik and Malti over perceived biases, although Shehbaz lightened the mood with jokes while promising fair judgement.

Ticket-to-Finale Task: Strategy, Sabotage, and Chaos

The contestants were introduced to a massive well structure that formed the core of the challenge. Each housemate had to transport water using bowls to fill their designated track and maintain a red bowl with a green mark. Whoever kept water in their bowl till the end would secure the ticket to the finale.

Tanya initially plotted to sabotage everyone by spilling their water but backed out after speaking with Amaal. Yet the task soon devolved into intense strategic warfare, shifting alliances, and direct confrontations. Malti emptied Farrhana’s water, prompting Tanya to retaliate by targeting Pranit’s bowl. This triggered a heated face-off involving Tanya, Malti, and Farrhana.

Pranit accused Tanya of “playing the woman card,” escalating the already charged atmosphere. In an unexpected twist, Bigg Boss allowed Farrhana—initially evicted from the task—to re-enter the competition, unsettling several contestants.

Ashnoor vs Tanya: A Physical Blow-Up

As the task approached its peak, only Gaurav and Ashnoor remained strong contenders. Tanya targeted Ashnoor’s bowl in an effort to support Gaurav, resulting in a physical clash where Ashnoor struck Tanya back. The incident left Tanya emotional and in pain.

Following this, Gaurav and Pranit comforted her, with Amaal and Farrhana remarking that Gaurav’s victory seemed inevitable.

When Tanya confronted Ashnoor, the latter maintained the hit was accidental. Their argument escalated sharply, with Ashnoor calling Tanya “negative” and “idiot.”

Gaurav Becomes First Finalist and New Captain

After a tense battle, Gaurav Khanna successfully outlasted the competition, winning the ticket to the finale and taking over the captaincy. Shehbaz presented him with the ticket as housemates watched on.

Meanwhile, Shehbaz privately told Malti that he believed Ashnoor had intentionally hurt Tanya, while Malti dismissed the outrage as frustration from those who lost.

Post-Task Emotions, Apologies, and Kheer

Amid the turbulence, Tanya apologised to Malti for previously nominating her, leading to a brief moment of reconciliation. They later bonded while sharing kheer.

However, tensions reignited when Ashnoor accused Malti of hypocrisy, prompting a sharp rebuttal from Malti, who labelled her "double-faced."

The episode closed on a calmer note, but the fallout from the task left clear divisions inside the house.
