Bigg Boss 19 Winner Gaurav Khanna Supports Wife’s No-Kids Choice, Responds to Backlash
Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna has addressed criticism surrounding his wife’s decision not to have children, firmly supporting her choice and rejecting claims that he used the topic for sympathy. In an interview with India Today, Gaurav said he feels “proud” discussing the matter and emphasised that respecting a woman’s autonomy is essential.
He clarified that he never “threw his wife under the bus,” adding that if he intended to seek sympathy, he would have done so years earlier. Gaurav highlighted that supporting his wife’s personal decision reflects his values, and he hopes more men learn to prioritise their partners’ wishes.
He also spoke about being called the “greenest flag” of the season, crediting empathy, respect for women, and the willingness to learn from mistakes as qualities he strives to embody.
Reflecting on his win, Gaurav said he is most grateful for the genuine fans he has earned, noting that the experience has helped filter out “unreal people” from his life. On a possible project hinted at by host Salman Khan, he remained tight-lipped but expressed excitement and hope.
Farrhana Bhatt and Pranit More finished as the first and second runner-up, respectively.
