Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders Trailer—Nawazuddin Siddiqui Returns as Jatil Yadav
Netflix has released the trailer of Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders, bringing Nawazuddin Siddiqui back as Inspector Jatil Yadav in a darker, more layered crime thriller. Directed by Honey Trehan and written by Smita Singh, the film explores a chilling new case set inside the shadow-filled Bansal mansion, where an influential family is found brutally murdered behind locked doors.
The trailer shows Jatil Yadav returning older and more weathered, yet sharper and more relentless in his pursuit of truth. As he navigates a maze of suspects—each hiding motives behind calm, deceptive faces—the mystery deepens with every clue. Nawazuddin notes that while Jatil has evolved, his instinct, clarity, and refusal to bow to power remain unchanged.
Chitrangda Singh plays Meera, a character layered with fragility and strength, burdened by secrets she fears to reveal. Radhika Apte reprises her role as Radha, now grounded and self-assured, adding emotional continuity and highlighting Jatil’s evolution. The ensemble cast also includes Deepti Naval, Ila Arun Bajpai, Rajat Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Revathy Asha Kelluni, Shridhar Dubey, Priyanka Setia, and Akhilendra Mishra.
Promising higher stakes, deeper psychological tension, and a labyrinth of lies, Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders will premiere on Netflix on December 19, 2025.
