BTS’ Kim Taehyung Hints at India Tour With ‘Namaste’ Message, Fans Go Wild

Global K-pop star Kim Taehyung, popularly known as V of BTS, sent Indian fans into a frenzy after hinting at a possible visit to India during his latest Weverse live interaction on December 27.

Responding to a fan greeting, Taehyung smiled and said, “Namaste, Indian ARMYs. See you next year.” While he stopped short of officially announcing tour dates or venues, the brief message was enough to spark widespread excitement and speculation about BTS finally including India in their upcoming world tour.

Clips from the live session quickly went viral across social media platforms, with fans calling it the strongest acknowledgment yet of BTS’ long-rumoured India plans. For Indian ARMYs, who have waited years for a live performance, the greeting felt like a long-overdue nod.

Timing fuels tour speculation

The timing of Taehyung’s remark has further intensified expectations. BTS are currently preparing for their highly anticipated full-group comeback in March 2026, marking their first collective return since members completed mandatory military service earlier this year.

The group has confirmed that work on a new album is already underway, and members have repeatedly hinted that recording is complete. Industry observers widely expect the album release to be followed by a major global tour — BTS’ first full-scale world tour since 2019.

India increasingly on BTS’ radar

While India has never hosted a BTS concert, speculation around a potential stop has grown stronger in recent years. HYBE, BTS’ parent company, has been expanding its engagement with Indian audiences through official platforms and regional initiatives, further fuelling expectations.

Despite the excitement, there has been no formal confirmation from BigHit Music or HYBE regarding tour schedules or locations. For now, Taehyung’s words remain an encouraging hint rather than an official announcement.

Still, for millions of Indian ARMYs, “Namaste” may just be the closest promise yet that BTS could finally perform on Indian soil.
