The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) will release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 admit cards today, November 12. Registered candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website, iimcat.ac.in, using their user ID and password.

The CAT 2025 exam — the gateway to MBA and postgraduate management programs across the 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and hundreds of leading B-schools — will be conducted on November 30, 2025, in three sessions across 170 test cities in India.

CAT 2025 Admit Card: Steps to Download

2. Click on “Download Admit Card” on the homepage.

3. Enter your CAT application ID and password to log in.

4. Your admit card will appear on the screen.

5. Verify all details carefully.

6. Download and take multiple printouts for future use.

CAT 2025 Exam Structure

The CAT 2025 exam will test candidates on three key sections, designed to evaluate analytical and reasoning skills:

Candidates can access the mock test using their registered CAT login credentials on the official website. The exercise is aimed at helping students manage time, understand the digital interface, and practice switching between question types effectively.

Record Registrations and Rising Competition

This year’s CAT has seen a record 2.95 lakh registrations, a marginal rise from 2.93 lakh in 2024. The steady increase highlights growing interest in management education across India.

In 2024, the CAT exam was held on November 24, and results were announced on December 19. Candidates can expect the CAT 2025 result to follow a similar timeline, likely in the third week of December 2025.

CAT 2025 and Admission Process

CAT scores are used not only by IIMs but also by more than 1,000 top business schools in India, including institutions like:

• Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University

• SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai

• Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon

• Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

• IMT Ghaziabad and others.

Each participating institute will release its cut-off scores and shortlisting criteria after results are declared. Candidates shortlisted for the next round will undergo Written Ability Tests (WAT), Group Discussions (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI) as part of the final selection.

CAT 2025: Important Guidelines

• Carry one valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Driving License) along with your admit card.

• Do not carry electronic devices, jewellery, or stationery (except a pen).

• The admit card must be printed on A4 paper and contain a clear photograph.
