Ranveer Singh’s high-octane gangster drama Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run at the box office, delivering massive numbers even as it completes two weeks in theatres. As of Day 14, the film has amassed Rs 460 crore in net collections in India, while its worldwide earnings are now closing in on the Rs 800 crore milestone, marking it as one of the biggest cinematic successes of 2025.
From the outset, Dhurandhar showed signs of extraordinary momentum, but its second-week performance has firmly established its long-term strength. Unlike films that rely solely on opening-week hype, the Aditya Dhar directorial has demonstrated consistent audience interest, both domestically and overseas. Trade analysts expect the film to comfortably cross Rs 800 crore globally over the weekend, driven by strong footfalls in international markets alongside its solid hold in India.
On Day 14, Dhurandhar recorded an overall theatre occupancy of 29.48 per cent, a notable figure for a film in its second week. Morning shows opened at 18.28 per cent, while afternoon occupancy climbed to 32.08 per cent. Evening shows peaked at 38.08 per cent, indicating sustained audience turnout even on weekdays. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected approximately Rs 23 crore on Thursday alone, further strengthening its domestic total.
With these numbers, Dhurandhar has secured a place among the top three highest-grossing Indian films of 2025 so far. It trails only Kantara Chapter 1, which currently leads with over Rs 622 crore, and Chhaava, which stands at around Rs 601 crore. The Ranveer Singh starrer has already outperformed several recent pan-India blockbusters, including Salaar, Jailer and Leo, reinforcing its dominance at the box office.
While a few all-time record holders such as Pathaan and Animal still remain ahead in lifetime domestic collections, Dhurandhar’s pace suggests it could soon challenge multiple benchmarks. Its exceptional overseas performance has been a major contributor to its global success, particularly in markets with strong South Asian audiences.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun. The film’s gritty narrative, powerful performances and large-scale action sequences have resonated strongly with audiences across regions.
Conceived as the first instalment of a two-part gangster saga, Dhurandhar has already laid the foundation for its sequel, which is scheduled for release during Eid 2026. With its current box office trajectory, the film has not only strengthened Ranveer Singh’s position as a bankable star but also emerged as a defining theatrical event of the year.
