Yash Shields Kiara Advani as Metal Object Flies Towards Her at Toxic Event

During the pre-release event of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups in Chennai, actor Yash's quick reaction caught the attention of fans after a metal object suddenly flew towards Kiara Advani.

A video from the event shows Kiara Advani seated in the front row beside Yash when the object came flying in their direction during a stage performance. Yash immediately reacted by putting his hands forward in an attempt to shield Kiara.

The object eventually fell in front of Kiara's chair and no one was injured. However, Yash's instinctive reaction quickly became a talking point on social media, with the video going viral.

Fans praised the actor for his quick reflexes and protective gesture, with several users sharing clips and reactions from the Toxic event.

Kiara Advani also spoke about her experience of working with Yash during the event and thanked him for being supportive on the sets of the film.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups features Yash in dual roles as an estranged father and son involved in a conflict. The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas, with Yash also associated with the writing of the project.

The film features an ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.

Toxic has been filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with both versions developed as original productions. The film will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The viral moment at the Chennai pre-release event has added to the growing buzz around the film, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 26.
