Nuvr scales ecommerce operations after moving beyond analytics

Bengaluru-based Nuvr has shifted from ecommerce analytics to managing brands’ online operations, with more than ₹1,200 crore in revenue under management.

Nuvr is combining technology and operational expertise to manage ecommerce and quick-commerce businesses for consumer brands.

In 2023, Pulkit Chhabra was pitching an ecommerce analytics product when a consumer brand founder asked a simple question: if the software could identify business problems, why not run the business itself? That conversation changed the direction of Nuvr, which moved from selling software to managing ecommerce and quick-commerce operations for consumer brands.

Today, Nuvr describes itself as an ecommerce and quick-commerce growth accelerator, working across pricing, advertising, inventory planning, catalogues, supply chains and relationships with online marketplaces.

From analytics software to ecommerce operator

Nuvr says it manages more than ₹1,200 crore in online sales for partner brands. The figure represents revenue under management rather than Nuvr's own revenue. The company says the metric has grown from around ₹125 crore during its first year and is targeting approximately ₹1,800 crore by the end of FY27.

Chhabra says Nuvr crossed $1 million in revenue during FY26 and is targeting roughly twice that in FY27. He also says the bootstrapped company is profitable, although it does not publicly disclose its margins.

The company's first major partner was hygiene products maker Origami. Nuvr says it studied the manufacturer's products and capacity before identifying which stock-keeping units could be scaled online. According to the company, Origami's online business doubled during the first year of the partnership.

Nuvr now works with brands including Origami, Medimix, Nilon's and CLEAR.

Managing ecommerce at SKU level

Rather than functioning solely as a marketing agency, Nuvr says it takes responsibility for significant parts of a brand's online profit-and-loss operations. Its compensation includes a management fee, with an element linked to revenue outcomes.

Its internal platform, Nuvr OS, tracks pricing, stock availability, competitor activity and marketing performance. Products are monitored at a granular level across platforms and locations, helping teams respond to changes such as competitor price movements or stockouts.

The platform uses AI and proprietary data generated through the ecommerce businesses Nuvr manages. Human teams remain involved when decisions require business judgement.

Taking the model overseas

Nuvr currently has around 65 employees and is exploring international expansion, with an initial focus on the US and Middle East. It already has a US pilot customer whose Amazon operations it manages.

The company competes with businesses offering marketplace management, advertising and inventory services, while positioning its model around direct operational responsibility and performance-linked compensation.

Chhabra says Nuvr does not plan to raise external funding during the current financial year. Longer term, the company aims to build a global digital commerce business from India by combining its operating capabilities with technology, with a potential public listing forming part of its long-term ambition.
