Ram Charan Makes Dosas as Konidela Family Celebrates Bhogi at Chiranjeevi’s Home

The Konidela family ushered in the festive season of Sankranthi with a traditional and heartwarming Bhogi celebration at Chiranjeevi’s residence in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The early-morning gathering blended age-old customs with relaxed family moments, offering fans a rare glimpse into the personal lives of one of Telugu cinema’s most influential families.

The celebrations were documented and shared on social media by Niharika Konidela, who gave followers an inside look at the festivities. From the misty winter morning to laughter-filled conversations, the atmosphere reflected the warmth that traditionally marks Bhogi, a festival symbolising the discarding of the old and welcoming new beginnings.

One of the standout moments from the celebration was the Konidela cousins gathering in the kitchen and turning it into a lively breakfast station. In a light-hearted video, family members were seen preparing dosas together, prompting Niharika to jokingly caption the moment as “Dosa day” rather than Bhogi. The clip quickly caught attention online for its candid and relatable family vibe.

In the video, Vaisshnav Tej is seen expertly handling the dosa pan, while Varun Tej joins his wife Lavanya Tripathi at the stove. Niharika is seen serving sambar, adding to the communal feel of the breakfast preparations.

Adding a playful touch to the morning, Ram Charan is seen teasing Sai Durgha Tej while he sips his coffee, nearly causing him to spill it. Ram Charan later takes charge of the dosa pan himself as Upasana Kamineni watches on with a smile, making the moment even more endearing for fans.

Meanwhile, senior members of the family, including Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu, were seen seated in the courtyard, patiently waiting for breakfast while enjoying the morning chill and family banter. The calm, unhurried pace of the celebration underlined the importance the family places on togetherness during festivals.

Photos and videos shared by Sai Durgha Tej and Varun Tej also highlighted the traditional Bhogi bonfire, an essential ritual that represents cleansing and renewal ahead of Sankranthi.

This year, however, one familiar face was missing. Allu Arjun skipped the annual family gathering as he is currently in Japan for the January 16 release of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is the only member of the family with a Sankranthi release this year. His film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi, released on January 12 and has reportedly recorded a strong opening at the global box office. Ram Charan, along with other family members, was spotted watching the film at a theatre in Hyderabad, rounding off the festive celebrations on a cinematic note.
