At a magazine launch event for Society Achievers in Mumbai, Sinha surprised the paparazzi with warm compliments, saying,
“Aap log pant bhi achhi pehente hain aur shirt bhi achhi pehente hain.”
His remark immediately drew laughter and eased the tension created by Bachchan’s previous comments about “drain-pipe” pants and unprofessional attire.
Actor Poonam Dhillon, who joined Sinha at the event, added to the cheerful atmosphere, saying it felt as though “the new year has already begun.”
The moment contrasted sharply with Jaya Bachchan’s recent statement, where she expressed discomfort with paparazzi behaviour, criticising their outfits and suggesting that mobile-phone culture had blurred professional boundaries.
