Tanya Mittal Gives Tour of Condom Factory, Recalls Salman Khan Trolling

Former Bigg Boss 18 contestant Tanya Mittal has offered a behind-the-scenes look at her condom manufacturing unit in Gwalior, addressing widespread speculation and trolling around her business claims following her appearance on the reality show.

In a video interview, Mittal showcased one of her factories after facing public doubt over her statements about owning multiple ventures, including pharmaceutical, solar and organic farming businesses. She confirmed that the Gwalior unit is a condom manufacturing facility and explained its operations, workforce structure and quality-control processes.

During the tour, Mittal walked viewers through the production floor, highlighting large-scale imported machinery used in the manufacturing process. She also showed the in-house laboratory, stressing that strict testing and quality checks are conducted before products are cleared for distribution.

“There are several staff members working here,” Mittal said, adding that while the industry may be considered taboo by some, she views it as a legitimate and necessary business. Factory employees present during the tour referred to her as “boss” and confirmed her ownership of the unit, dismissing rumours questioning the authenticity of her enterprises.

Staff members also stated that salaries are paid on time and working conditions meet industry standards, addressing concerns raised during online discussions after the show.

‘I was being lynched’: Tanya on trolling and criticism

Mittal said the decision to open up about her businesses was driven by loyalty to her supporters rather than a need to justify herself to critics. “They believed me without questioning anything. Because of that, they were targeted and trolled for supporting a ‘fake’ girl. I was being lynched the whole time,” she said.

Reflecting on her time inside the Bigg Boss house, Mittal recalled facing repeated criticism from fellow contestants and the show’s host Salman Khan during weekend episodes. “Inside the house, they would go after me for six days. Then on weekends, I was roasted even more,” she said, referring to Khan’s on-air remarks that later fuelled online trolling.

She also addressed comments made about how her staff address her, clarifying that being called “boss” or “didi” was a matter of respect, not hierarchy. Factory staff immediately backed her statement on camera.

Family background and public scrutiny

Earlier, Mittal had shared glimpses of her home and joint family setup, featuring everyday aspects of their lifestyle. Family members defended her claims, explaining that many things questioned online were normal within their household.

Tanya Mittal finished as a runner-up on Bigg Boss 18, a season that was eventually won by actor Gaurav Khanna. Since the show, she has remained in the spotlight, with her business ventures and personal life continuing to draw intense public attention.
