Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently paid a spiritual visit to Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam ashram in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by his parents and brother Anand Deverakonda. His peaceful family trip, however, has set social media abuzz after fans noticed a ring on his finger, fuelling renewed speculation about his engagement with Rashmika Mandanna.
In a now-viral video, Vijay is seen receiving a flower bouquet as he enters the ashram premises. He was welcomed warmly by officials of the pilgrimage town. According to reports, the Deverakonda family is visiting to seek divine blessings at Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Maha Samadhi. Interestingly, both Vijay and Anand completed their schooling at the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Higher Secondary School in Anantapur, making this visit even more personal.
Fans Spot Engagement Ring
Photos and videos of Vijay holding a bouquet quickly spread across social media platforms. Fans were quick to zoom in and point out the sparkling ring on his finger, calling it an “engagement ring.”
This sighting comes shortly after reports claimed that Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got engaged in a private ceremony at the actor’s Hyderabad residence on October 3, attended only by close friends and family members.
Wedding in 2026?
According to sources, the couple is likely to tie the knot in February 2026 in a destination wedding. However, neither Vijay nor Rashmika has issued any official statement confirming the engagement or marriage.
The duo, who shared crackling chemistry in their hit Telugu films ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, are reportedly collaborating once again in Rahul Sankrityan’s upcoming untitled project. Both stars are expected to complete their ongoing professional commitments before their much-awaited wedding.
