Bigg Boss Tamil 9: Aadhirai, FJ Evicted; Vijay Sethupathi Pulls Up Sandra

The weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Tamil 9 delivered high drama and emotional moments as the show witnessed a double eviction, with contestants Aadhirai and FJ exiting the house. The developments significantly altered house dynamics, while host Vijay Sethupathi addressed ongoing tensions among contestants.

The eviction process began with Amit and Kamrudin being declared safe, followed by Kani and Sandra. The remaining nominees included Aadhirai, FJ, Divya, Subiksha, and VJ Parvathy. FJ was the first contestant to be evicted. Before leaving, he performed a rap and addressed his fellow housemates, urging them to play their game freely.

FJ also apologised to Aadhirai, stating that he never intended to hurt her during the course of the game and expressed his wish to maintain a connection outside the show. His departure left several housemates emotional, particularly Aadhirai.

Soon after, Aadhirai was announced as the second contestant to be evicted. Visibly shocked, she expressed disappointment over her journey in the house, saying she felt uncertain about the expectations placed on her despite her efforts. She also voiced frustration over not being able to complete the freeze task.

Following Aadhirai’s eviction, the 24-hour family visit privilege she had previously earned was transferred to VJ Parvathy. The gesture deeply moved Parvathy, who broke down in tears and thanked Aadhirai, calling the moment unforgettable. The privilege is expected to play a crucial emotional role for Parvathy, given her ongoing personal struggles inside the house.

During the weekend interactions, Vijay Sethupathi also addressed a controversy involving Sandra, who accused Kani of singing a song targeting her children during a dance marathon task. The host clarified that the song was not directed at Sandra’s children and advised her to apologise, urging contestants to avoid unnecessary dramatics.

Both evicted contestants addressed the audience during their exit. Aadhirai received strong support from her family on stage, with her parents encouraging the remaining contestants to continue playing sincerely.

The double eviction has further intensified the competition, with several strong contenders still in the race. Bigg Boss Tamil 9, which premiered on October 5, continues to stream on JioHotstar, with new episodes airing daily.
