Bomb Threat E-mails Sent to Schools in Noida and Ahmedabad Ahead of Republic Day

Several schools in Noida and Ahmedabad were placed on high alert on Friday after receiving bomb threat e-mails, triggering swift security responses just days before Republic Day celebrations. The threats prompted precautionary evacuations, intensive checks by law enforcement agencies, and heightened vigilance across educational institutions in both cities.

In Noida, bomb threat e-mails were received by Shiv Nadar School and Father Agnel School, causing immediate concern among school authorities and parents. Following standard safety protocols, local police teams were rushed to the campuses, along with bomb disposal units and dog squads, to conduct thorough searches of the premises. Students were dismissed early as a precautionary measure to ensure their safety.

School authorities acted promptly to manage the situation. Shiv Nadar School arranged transport facilities to ensure students were safely taken back to designated drop-off points.
