Bondi Beach Attack Accused Naveed Akram Appears in Court, Faces 59 Charges

Naveed Akram, the surviving accused in the deadly Bondi Beach terror attack, appeared before a Sydney court for the first time on Monday. Dressed in a green prison jumper, the 24-year-old’s brief appearance came as the court extended suppression orders related to the case, one of Australia’s deadliest terror incidents in recent history.

Akram and his father were responsible for the December 14, 2025 attack at a beachside public gathering in Sydney that left 15 people dead and dozens injured.
