CJP Launches ‘Adivasi School Thik Karo’ Campaign in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli

Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has announced the launch of the “Adivasi School Thik Karo” campaign in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district from September 17, focusing on alleged shortcomings in tribal education infrastructure and access.

The campaign will involve CJP representatives visiting tribal schools to assess facilities and infrastructure. Dipke alleged that tribal schools had faced prolonged government neglect and called for greater attention to students in tribal and rural areas.

Dipke claimed that more than 590 tribal students had died in Maharashtra over the past two years, including alleged deaths linked to snakebites. He also claimed that over 30 tribal students died in Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat region in the previous two months. These claims were presented by Dipke and were not independently verified in the report.

He also raised concerns about compensation for families of deceased students and the functioning of Eklavya Modern residential schools, claiming that 477 of 720 such institutions were non-functional. Dipke further cited low tribal higher-education enrolment and limited Scheduled Tribe representation among IIT admissions as concerns.

During an interaction with tribal students in Nagpur, Dipke symbolically tore up a copy of an MoU between Maharashtra’s Tribal Development Department and the Late Lakshman Mankar Trust concerning tribal hostels. A senior government official had rejected allegations that nearly 490 hostels were being handed over to an RSS-linked trust, calling the claims baseless.
