The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT 2026 admit cards, enabling thousands of law aspirants to download their hall tickets ahead of the Common Law Admission Test on December 7, 2025.

The admit cards are now available on the official website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in — for both UG and PG candidates. The release marks the final countdown for one of India’s most competitive entrance examinations for admission to the country's top National Law Universities.


How to Download the CLAT 2026 Admit Card

Candidates must log in using their registered mobile number and password. The Consortium has urged aspirants to verify all details carefully, including the assigned exam centre, reporting time and examination instructions.

Exam-Day Guidelines and Mandatory Documents

Candidates must reach the exam centre well before the reporting time to complete mandatory verification. Entry will not be permitted after gate closure.

Required Documents

  • Printed copy of the CLAT 2026 admit card

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence)

  • Permitted pens and any additional documents specified on the admit card

Items such as books, notes, electronic gadgets and restricted materials are not allowed inside the examination hall.


CLAT 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam will be held on December 7 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The UG CLAT question paper will include 120 multiple-choice questions across five sections:

  • English Language

  • Current Affairs & General Knowledge

  • Legal Reasoning

  • Logical Reasoning

  • Quantitative Techniques

Each correct answer carries 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
