NEET PG Counselling 2025: MCC Releases Provisional Round 1 Results, Round 2 Schedule Out

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the provisional seat allotment results for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025, shortlisting 26,889 candidates for postgraduate medical and dental programmes across the country.

More than 2 lakh candidates appeared for NEET PG this year, of which 1,28,116 qualified for counselling under the All India Quota (AIQ) and other participating institutions.


Round 1 Reporting Details

Candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats must report to their respective colleges between November 21 and November 27, 2025, carrying all required documents as specified by MCC guidelines.

The final Round 1 seat allotment list will be published on November 22, 2025. Those satisfied with their allotted seat will be able to freeze their choice and proceed with the joining formalities.

The Round 1 process began on October 17, 2025, including registration, choice filling, and seat allotment processing.


Round 2 Counselling Schedule

The MCC has announced the complete timetable for Round 2 of NEET PG Counselling 2025, offering an opportunity for candidates seeking an upgrade or those who did not participate in Round 1.

NEET PG Round 2 Dates:

  • Registration & Payment: December 2–7, 2025

  • Choice Filling & Locking: December 3–7, 2025

  • Seat Allotment Processing: December 8 & 9, 2025

  • Result Declaration: December 10, 2025

  • Reporting & Joining: December 11–18, 2025

Candidates must complete reporting at their allotted institute within the stipulated dates once Round 2 results are issued.


What’s Next for Candidates

Round 1 candidates must complete their reporting process by December 1, 2025. Round 2 is expected to see a significant number of aspirants aiming for upgraded seats in top medical colleges and specialised departments.

The NEET PG counselling process will continue in multiple phases, ensuring systematic seat allocation across government, private, and deemed medical institutions in India.
