Dhurandhar enters Rs 1,000 crore club in 21 days, biggest Indian film of 2025

The Dhurandhar, headlined by Ranveer Singh, has scripted box office history by storming into the coveted Rs 1,000 crore club worldwide within just 21 days of its release. The film’s blistering run has made it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 so far, reaffirming Bollywood’s big-screen pull.

According to trade estimates, Dhurandhar has amassed Rs 668.80 crore at the domestic box office, while its global collections stand at Rs 1,006.7 crore. The film’s performance on Day 21 was particularly remarkable, registering an estimated Rs 26 crore in India, nearly matching its opening-day figure of Rs 28 crore. This late-run surge highlights the film’s strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience interest.

Industry analysts note that Dhurandhar delivered the kind of blockbuster momentum the Hindi film industry has been craving. After a mixed year at the box office, the film’s massive success has revived optimism among exhibitors and distributors alike. It is only the second film this year, after Chhaava, to not just dominate ticket windows but also drive pop culture conversations nationwide.

Having already crossed Rs 944 crore globally within 20 days, Dhurandhar used its third weekend to push past the Rs 1,000 crore milestone, cementing its place among the elite club of Indian cinema’s biggest earners. Trade experts believe the film could continue adding to its tally in the coming days, especially with the holiday season boosting footfalls.

With its record-breaking run, Dhurandhar has firmly positioned itself as a defining cinematic event of 2025 and a major high point in Ranveer Singh’s career.
