Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh Film Nears Rs 300 Crore Milestone

Aditya Dhar’s period spy thriller Dhurandhar, headlined by Ranveer Singh, continues its dominant run at the Indian box office and is now closing in on the Rs 300 crore milestone, reaffirming its status as one of the biggest hits of the year.

Released on December 5, the film has shown remarkable consistency and growth through its second weekend, supported by strong word-of-mouth and the absence of major competing releases. According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, Dhurandhar has already crossed the Rs 290 crore mark, becoming Ranveer Singh’s second highest-grossing film to date.

The film built a solid foundation in its opening week, collecting Rs 207.25 crore. Rather than tapering off, its momentum has strengthened in the second week, with audiences continuing to flock to theatres across key markets.

On day nine, the second Saturday of its run, Dhurandhar posted its biggest single-day collection so far, earning an estimated Rs 53 crore nett in India. The figure marked a sharp 61 per cent jump from its Friday earnings of Rs 32.50 crore, indicating sustained audience interest well into its second weekend.

The upward trend was evident throughout the week. The film earned around Rs 27 crore on day seven, matching its day six and day five collections, and outperforming its first Monday, which stood at Rs 23.35 crore — the lowest single-day figure so far.

Occupancy levels remain robust, with the film recording an impressive 66.09 per cent Hindi occupancy on Saturday, reflecting its strong hold in Hindi-speaking regions.

By the end of day nine, Dhurandhar had amassed approximately Rs 292.75 crore at the domestic box office. With the second weekend still in progress, the film is expected to comfortably cross the Rs 300 crore mark in the coming days, marking a major commercial milestone for both director Aditya Dhar and star Ranveer Singh.
