Fan Frenzy Greets Vijay at Jana Nayagan Audio Launch in Kuala Lumpur

Vijay received a thunderous welcome at the audio launch of his much-anticipated film Jana Nayagan in Kuala Lumpur, as thousands of fans packed Bukit Jalil Stadium on Saturday evening. Deafening cheers and chants filled the venue the moment the actor arrived, underlining his enduring star power across borders.

The mega event has been billed as historic, not just for the film but also for Vijay’s career. Jana Nayagan is widely believed to be his final film before he steps away from acting to focus on politics full-time, adding a strong emotional charge to the night.

Massive welcome across the city

Vijay touched down in Kuala Lumpur on December 26 to an overwhelming reception. Videos circulating on social media showed fans erupting in cheers outside his hotel, while another clip captured a long convoy escorting the actor through the city, reflecting the scale of the welcome.

At the airport, Vijay was greeted with a traditional cultural performance. Accompanied by music composer Anirudh Ravichander, he interacted warmly with the dancers—one moment, where he held a Bluetooth speaker mid-performance, quickly went viral.

A landmark evening for cinema and fans

The audio launch is being held in two segments. The first, titled Thalapathy Thiruvizha, features a tribute concert with performances by nearly 30 singers. This will be followed by the official audio launch, where Vijay and the film’s team are expected to address the audience.

The event has drawn several prominent figures from the Tamil film industry, including director H Vinoth, actor Pooja Hegde, and filmmakers Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar, and Prabhu Deva.

With anticipation at a peak, the Jana Nayagan audio launch is shaping up to be a defining moment—celebrating Vijay’s cinematic journey even as fans look ahead to his next chapter in public life.
