Jay Bhanushali Supports Ex-Wife Mahhi Vij as She Enters Bigg Boss 20

Actor Mahhi Vij has entered Bigg Boss 20 after reportedly turning down opportunities to participate in the popular reality show for several years. Her entry received a message of support from her ex-husband, Jay Bhanushali, who publicly wished her well as she began her journey inside the Bigg Boss house.

Jay Bhanushali shared a video of Mahhi Vij's entry on his Instagram Story and wrote, “The don is in the house,” while wishing her luck and encouraging her to give her best on the show.

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali, who married in 2011, announced their separation in January 2026. Despite ending their marriage, the two have continued to publicly express mutual respect and support for each other.

Mahhi was welcomed by Salman Khan on the Bigg Boss 20 stage. During their interaction, Salman revealed that the makers had reportedly been trying to bring Mahhi onto the reality show for several years.

Mahhi explained that she had previously declined the opportunity because the timing did not feel right. However, she decided last month that she was finally ready to participate in the reality show.

Mahhi Vij also revealed that her children played an important role in encouraging her decision. Her adopted children, Khushi and Rajveer, along with her biological daughter Tara, supported her decision to enter Bigg Boss 20.

Tara was present during Mahhi's entry and joined her mother on stage before she entered the Bigg Boss house, sharing an emotional moment with her.

Mahhi's Bigg Boss 20 journey comes months after she and Jay Bhanushali announced their separation through a joint statement on Instagram. The former couple said they had chosen separate paths in life but would continue to support each other and remain committed to their children.

In their statement, Mahhi and Jay said their decision was based on peace, growth and mutual respect. They also clarified that there was no bitterness or negativity between them and requested privacy as they moved forward separately.

The former couple further said they would continue to support one another and remain friends while focusing on being the best parents for their children.

Ahead of her entry into the reality show, Mahhi Vij also made it clear that she does not wish to discuss her separation from Jay Bhanushali during her time inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.

With Jay publicly cheering for her entry, Mahhi Vij's Bigg Boss 20 journey has begun with a message of support from her former partner, highlighting the cordial relationship the two have maintained following their separation.
