BJP Announces Month-Long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Across India to Mark 25 Years of PM Modi's Public Service

The BJP has announced a month-long nationwide campaign, Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which will be organised from September 17 to October 17, 2026, to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday and commemorate 25 years of his public service as head of government.

The campaign will begin on September 17 with blood donation camps being organised across the country. Beneficiaries of various government schemes will also participate in the lighting of the Aashirwad Ka Diya at 7 pm.

As part of the initiative, schools will organise drawing and speech competitions based on the theme of Viksit Bharat 2047. The campaign will also include street plays titled Namo Seva and Aangan Milan Seva outreach programmes at Anganwadi centres.

A major event under the campaign, the Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra, is scheduled to be held on October 7 at district headquarters across the country. The programme will also feature two youth-led rallies covering the route between Vadnagar and Varanasi across 10 states.

The month-long initiative will further include Seva Setu camps at the block level, Shramdaan activities under the Seva Mera Yogdan programme and public human rangoli displays aimed at promoting awareness about government welfare schemes.

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is expected to bring together party workers, government scheme beneficiaries, students and local communities through a series of service-oriented programmes and public outreach activities across India.
