Hanuman Ansh Team Meets Yogi Adityanath as Film Nears Rs 170 Crore at Box Office

The team of Hanuman Ansh met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow as the spiritual drama continued its impressive run at the box office, nearing the Rs 170 crore mark in India gross collections.

Director Vishal Chaturvedi, the producer and members of the cast met the Chief Minister at his official residence and discussed the film's spiritual themes and their experience of bringing the story to the screen.

During the interaction, the Hanuman Ansh team spoke about important sequences in the film centred on Neem Karoli Baba and the Nath tradition. Pictures from the meeting were also shared by the Chief Minister's Office.

The Nath tradition is associated with Hindu spiritual practices, including yoga, meditation and asceticism, and is closely linked with Lord Shiva. The filmmakers also discussed references to Gorakhnath and other saints associated with the Nath tradition featured in the film.

According to director Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh explores aspects of Neem Karoli Baba's early spiritual journey and his association with saints from the Nath tradition. The film presents these elements as part of its portrayal of the spiritual life, teachings and journey of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj-ji.

The meeting with Yogi Adityanath was described by the team as a significant moment as they shared their experiences of making the spiritual drama and discussed its themes with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.

Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is based on the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba. The film explores themes of devotion, spirituality, love and service.

The film has completed 33 days in theatres and has collected Rs 169.20 crore in India gross, putting it close to the Rs 170 crore milestone. Its strong theatrical performance has continued to generate attention, with the spiritual drama maintaining momentum at the box office.

Hanuman Ansh is also preparing for an international release, with Hombale Films set to distribute the film overseas through HombaleOverseas.
