Jain Community Mega Bulk Car Buy: 190 Luxury Cars, Rs 21.5 Crore Savings

In a staggering display of community unity, the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) has made headlines with a nationwide bulk purchase of 190 luxury cars, including BMW, Audi, and Mercedes. The initiative, part of the JITO-backed J Point Platform, helped members secure discounts totaling Rs 21.5 crore.

The cars, priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1.5 crore, were bought over the last few months as part of exclusive bulk deals offered by luxury automobile brands. While the purchases spanned across India, the majority of buyers hailed from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with 30 cars reportedly purchased by local members of the organisation.

Since its formation in 2007, JITO has focused on economic empowerment of the Jain community, enabling members to leverage collective buying power. The J Point Platform, launched three years ago, provides a dedicated channel for members to enquire about and secure bulk deals on luxury and premium items, from electronics to high-end cars.

Speaking about the record deal, Nitin Jain, Chairman of J Point, stated, “Our members purchased 190 BMW, Audi, and Mercedes cars in bulk deals, ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore, saving an impressive Rs 21.5 crore in discounts.”

Amit Shah, Convenor of the J Point Platform, highlighted the organisation’s scale: “With thousands of members nationwide, companies offer substantial discounts on multiple items, including cars, electronic devices, and iPhones, due to our bulk buying power.”

Currently, JITO boasts 30,000 members across India, including 5,000 from Gujarat, according to Co-Convenor Prakshal Shah. The organisation continues to explore bulk deals on over 15 products, reinforcing its mission of enabling members to trade and purchase goods efficiently. Lifetime membership fees range from Rs 2 lakh to 20 lakh, granting members access to these exclusive deals.

This initiative showcases the power of collective buying and marks a significant milestone in community-driven economic empowerment in India.
