Football fans in India are in for a historic treat as Lionel Messi prepares for his highly anticipated GOAT Tour to India 2025. Reports confirm that his Inter Miami teammates, Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, will join the Argentine superstar for a star-studded tour across major Indian cities.
The tour promises football masterclasses, meet-and-greet sessions, and headline GOAT Cup matches, bringing fans closer than ever to Messi and his trusted teammates. Suarez, known as one of the most lethal strikers of his generation, previously formed a legendary attacking trio with Messi and Neymar at Barcelona, winning four La Liga titles and the 2015 UEFA Champions League. De Paul, a World Cup-winning midfielder, completes the trio, bringing experience and creativity to the pitch.
Messi described the tour as an “honour” and expressed excitement about returning to India, a country with a passionate football fanbase he last visited in 2011 with Argentina. The tour itinerary is packed:
-
Kolkata – Salt Lake Stadium: December 13
-
Ahmedabad: December 14
-
Mumbai – Wankhede Stadium: December 14
-
New Delhi – Arun Jaitley Stadium: December 15
Events include football workshops, padel exhibitions, concerts, meet-and-greets, and the much-anticipated GOAT Cup matches, ensuring entertainment for fans of all ages.
Organisers are reportedly in talks to bring Neymar for the Kolkata leg, giving fans a rare chance to witness the iconic MSN trio — Messi, Suarez, and Neymar — together once again. Even if Neymar doesn’t join, seeing Messi alongside Suarez and De Paul promises a dream experience for Indian football fans.
Adding to the excitement, Messi is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, making his India visit both a sporting and cultural highlight.
